Oyo Hotels - OYO rooms cancellation at the last minute

Our booking for Purohit Holiday Resort was made on June **, **** and it was cancelled on July **, ****.
It was informed to us, that our reservation made in hotel Purohit Holiday Resort at Lonavala was cancelled * day before we had were to arrive i.e. July **, **** - July **, ****, because the contract with the hotel had ended. However, i received a notification on Monday July **, ****, for booking at the same hotel, at a discount price. How is this possible if the contract had ended. This is a case of cheating, the customer.
We had to spend the entire previous day, getting in touch with other hotels, due to OYOs inability to shift us into another hotel, with the same facilities. I am sure our reservation was cancelled, to facilitate somebody else better, while we had to bear the pains of booking another hotel, and settling for a lower grade hotel.
