Mohammad Ehteshamullah filed complaint against Rentickle.com on Jul 4, 2025
On **th of December **** I placed an order for renting a Turquoise Molfino * Seater sofa on rentickle.com, for a period of * months, which got delivered to me on **th of December. Each month I was charged Rs.**** for rent which included GST, while I paid a deposit of **** during the first month. By the end of the * month tenure, I have paid a total of Rs.**** on rent (including GST) + the deposit, which comes to Rs. ****. The return request was made on *th of June on the company portal for **th of June, but on not receiving any communication from the team, I raised a complain using its customer service number (**** *** ****). They rescheduled it to **rd after confirming my availability as the pick-up team was not available earlier. On **rd, they pick up team did contact me but they never came for the pickup, which got it rescheduled to **th, when they did come but sited traffic issue as the reason for not completing the process. The next day again there was no contact from the team and after speaking with the support, we got the pickup rescheduled again to **th, the day on which the order finally got picked up. After all this fiasco and headache, there was absolutely no delay from my end for pickup and the responsibility solely lies on Rentickle and the pick-up team to get the order picked up on time. On speaking with them, I got verbal confirmation that I will bear no extra charges for the delay as it was not from my end. However today, I'm receiving the breakdown of all the charges for the sofa, and they are charging me for * months. The * month's rent is being deducted directly from my deposit of Rs.**** and I'm only being promised a return of Rs.***. I have already raised a complaint with the support, but they have very conveniently not raised an order/ticket for my concern. Please help me get my deposit back! I am attaching all the relevant documents to support my case.
