I have booked the train ticket via Amazon for my Uncle and Aunty, who are senior citizen. Since the train is delayed for more than * hours, i have filed the TDR via Amazon. After ** days when i check the refund status in IRCTC website, it was mentioned "TDR Request Repudiated". I sent the mail to care@irctc.co.in and they replied "refund case pertaining to your PNR No. has been repudiated by Railways. On verification Railways has conveyed that the passenger(s) have/travelled. In case you have any proof like attendance sheet duly signed by employer, alternate travelling details of not traveling". I have replied them "Since both passengers are Senior citizens, both are not working. So I don't have any attendance sheet for them. In the next day tickets are not available in train & Bus, so they didn't travel in any alternate ways. Also due to the COVID pandemic situation they totally cancelled their travel plan. On the next day (ie) on **.**.**** One of the passengers has gone for the medical check-up. And I have enclosed medical prescription". They didn't accept it and replied "As per your given document is not valid so, please send us the valid proof (Hindi /English LANGUAGE).
I tried to convince them with several mails and their reply is same. I don't know to whom I have to take this complaint. Kindly advise.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
