Easemytrip - Not receiving refund for the rejected rescheduling request

May **th, **:**pm - I booked a flight from Bangalore to Paris through Smartbuy (via Easemytrip). The flight got confirmed.
May **th, *:**pm - I wanted to reschedule my flight and I went to EMT directly to do the rescheduling. I paid Rs.***** for rescheduling but it did not get processed. I got an email from EMT saying that the price has changed, and I need to pay the balance amount of Rs.**** to complete the rescheduling. I decided to not reschedule and ask them to reject the request and refund me the original amount of Rs.*****.

Since then I have been fighting to get my refund. Whenever I call the customer care, they keep telling me we have escalated and it will get processed but no actions are taken. When I ask them to put me in touch with some senior, they deny me doing it. I asked for some sort of accountability, and they have refused to provide me one. It feels like there is a wall, and I'm being isolated in this process. I don't see any intentions from them of returning my refund.
