Amey Bairolu filed complaint against Amazon India on Aug 2, 2021
I had ordered an office chair from Amazon which reached on time. But I wasn't too comfortable with it. In fact, I got a backache. So on **th July I initiated a return pick-up for **th July. But the pick-up person never arrived. In fact, upon reaching the customer service multiple times, every time they just reinitiated the return pick-up. But on **th July, when I reached the customer service team again, I actually raised my voice, and the attendant finally escalated the issue for an advance refund. So according to their policy, its expected of us customers to wait for ** hours. So I waited. And I waited for nothing. On **th July, I again reached the customer service team only to learn that the advance refund request was rejected. And so I was asked to wait till *nd August as they reinitiated a pickup for the same day.
Today, in the morning, I received a message with contact details of the pick-up guy. I called him just like I called every other pick-up guy only to learn from them that they didn't receive any information as such to pick-up anything from my address. Today also, the guy who picked up the call said, "If you have raised the return request definitely it must have reached us". I asked him to check his records. He said he will check and then hung up. And then, he actually blocked my contact number. Now I am not able to reach him to confirm whether he'll be coming to my address to pick up the stupid chair.
I am tired of this waiting. They are actually toying with me and I never had expected such negligence from Amazon.
I need the refund ASAP as the glitch is from their end and I shouldn't have to pay for their issues.
