Lufthansa Airlines - Nonreceipt of Refund from Lufthansa Airlines

Sub : Issue with Lufthansa re: Refund of Cancelled Tickets against PNR No. SNNMO*
This is Dharmendra Siraj from Mumbai.
This has reference to our purchase of two online tickets from Lufthansa Airlines for travel on **.**.**** to Mumbai-Amsterdam-San Francisco and return on *th June **** from San Francisco to Mumbai as per copy of the ticket attached herewith at a cost of Rs.*,**,***/-..
Subsequently, when we were not able to travel on **th April ****, we had approached Lufthansa Airlines to get * tickets for us to travel to the same sector after **th of April ****.
Since tickets were not available for the months of April / May ****, we were forced to opt for date change to September **** and accordingly changed our tickets for travel on *th September **** by paying an additional charge of Rs.*,**,***/- whereby the total cost of our two tickets became Rs.*,**,***+ Rs.*,**,*** = total Rs.***,***/- . A copy of the said ticket along with the receipt of additional charges of Rs.*,**,***/- are also attached herewith for your perusal.
Thereafter, we received an email intimation from Lufthansa that the flights timing / sectors were changed by the airlines itself for reasons best known to them, and hence we can either travel as per changed schedule of Lufthansa or cancel the ticket and get refund. Accordingly, the tickets were cancelled and on **.*.**** we received * refunds totaling to Rs.**,***/- against our actual cost of Rs.***,***/-.
We are quite shocked to get such a nominal refund amount of Rs.**,***/- and contacted Lufthansa by phone calls and email communications. Despite all these calls and email communications, there was no proper reply received from the Airlines.
Hence we approach you with a request to kindly intervene and help us to get our refund amount as we have spent a huge sum of Rs.***,***/- for our * tickets.
We trust you will take appropriate action for us to get the refund from Lufthansa.
