Divit filed complaint against Flipkart on Oct 15, 2022
Hi,
I purchased & ordered a product (smartphone) "Nothing phone one" through Flipkart ecommerce.
Which I received on the **th of September.
Now the issue is that the phone had a problem after ** hours of my use because I received an update from nothing phone one. I updated the phone as per the received update. Overnight my phone battery drained that I found when woke up in the morning. At that time I just used the charger to charge the phone. Now when I powered on the phone with the power button. Then what I saw waas that the phone started restarting. That was a loop like starting on then shows logo and again restarts. After this horrible experience, I called Flipkart support for the issue. The thing is that Flipkart Support seems to be unavailable because it was morning *:** AM.
Now after a number of attempts I was able to connect with one of the technical support executive, time was around *:** AM. After circulating my call to troubleshooting team, where I found two customer executive those to my surprise asked me to troubleshoot the phone by connecting to the Wi-Fi( a phone which is not turning on properly how it can be connected to anything?).
In the middle of all that drama they finally understood and asked me to not to worry as they will schedule a technician visit for this phone. They told me that there will be a technician visit and the query will be resolved in ** hours. That technician will be letting know the company that what is the issue with the phone and on that behalf the return or replacement or refund request will be raised.
Now to make the technician visit the same day I called Flipkart *-* times on the **th of September, the same atonly I called them. They asked me to wait for a few hours as the technician visit will be scheduled at *:** PM **th of September. I received a call from a technician who asked me to visit at around *:** at my home to see what the issue was with the phone. At *:** the technician came. He looked at the phone. The phone was in same condition. He checked the phone for ** minutes in a total of * hours visit. He called his senior and explained the issue that due to phone not starting properly he was unable to fetch IMEI number. After his senior confirmation he marked the issue as approved for replacement.
The replacement request was generate on same date that is **th Sep **** evening. In next morning on **th Sep I received a call around **.** pm from flipkart. After explaining the issue to them and asking them for refund in place of replacement due the lost of trust in Flipkart & seller. The executive explained the replacement policy scenario and asked me to wait till *nd October ****. After my ** minutes of call with them I checked the Flipkart App and what I saw was a blunder, that executive not only cancelled my return request but also my replacement. It took me * more day to explain them the issue and they initiated the return & replacement request again with a additional request of scheduling pickup & Delivery of the product to my Delhi Residence. They accepted and assured me that after the technician visit on my Delhi Residence they will pickup & Deliver phone on the changed address. Which didn't happened and the seller sent the phone to old that is to my Bathinda Punjab Address. I completely does not understand that why It is so difficult for them to understand the problem. Today is *th October and still not able to get all this sorted.
How is that even possible when I am available at the pickup address from last * weeks. No one even contacted me over call before pickup. I just received a message from Ekart around *PM in evening on **th Oct that the pickup will be done by *PM today. To my surprise no one called me between *PM to *PM (I was in my home). After * PM I received a message that the delivery was unsuccessful due to some unforeseen circumstances. To my knowledge what were those unforseen circumstances I am still wondering. On **-OCT-** I have called flikart for priority pickup but no response or call back to resolve the issue. Harassment of a higher level.
