I got UAE visa done through Makemytrip and I had provided all supporting documents for the same. After receiving the visa, I noticed that my middle name was missing in the visa, I called up makemytrip visa customer service to get the visa rectified. They told me the visa is perfectly fine and confirmed the erroneous format on mail saying that this is the format used by UAE immigration. At Dubai, this visa was rejected and we were told that we either get a new visa made or get deported. I was stuck at the airport for *hrs and was told that they will blacklist me for trying to enter the country with a wrong visa. I tried contacting MakeMyTrip from the airport, their customer care centre put me on hold endlessly. When I wrote a mail to them, they did not take responsibility and said will take *-* days to issue a new visa. Fortunately I was put in touch with an agent who issued a new visa ( for which I had to pay Rs. *****) on an urgent basis and cancelled the visa provided by makemytrip. Due to this carelessness on part of MakeMyTrip, my entire group ended up wasting one day of the trip. after coming back, I have been continuously following up with makemytrip for this issue and their customer care team has given me a very hard time. They are extremely sluggish and keep saying they will look into the issue and revert, but no one does. There were days when I had to call them up **-** times to no avail. When finally I manage to get through or on rare occasions when they give you a call back, they deflect responsibility and cite illogical reasons for the same. The height of it the makemytrip representative who is looking into this particular case, hangs up my call or puts it on hold endlessly whenever he has no case against my argument. This has been going for a while and it is become really frustrating to follow up with these guys. I have attached the following screenshots-
