Amazon.in - Money locked by the company

Amazon closed my account abruptly on * March **** without any prior intimation. After pursuing this matter with Amazon through emails in the last two months, Amazon informed me that similarity found with an entity on the BIS Entity List. They did not provide any specific details as such. A BIS entity list refers to "Export Administration Regulations" in the USA. In this regard, it is worth to mention that my Amazon account has never been used in procuring any type of product from the USA. Neither, any particulars of my name, residential address, phone number and email are listed in BIS entity list. Also, my Amazon account has never been used for any government or commercial establishment which are often the subject matter of BIS entity list. I solely used my account for online shopping for me and my loved ones. In support of this, I have attached a complete list of all the items purchased from Amazon using my Amazon account. I have also mentioned that all the items were brought by using my own money (my bank account or credit cards issued in my name). Furthermore, I have offered to provide statements of my credit card or bank account, KYC documents, if any. However, Amazon did not reinstate my account. Because of this, I am not able to use my Amazon Pay balance of Rs **** as it is locked in my account. Further, I did not get the refund of my Amazon Pay Money despite many appeals. It is very disappointing that Amazon can do such a thing in India.
