Makemytrip.com - Money deducted but my flight ticket booking failed

I had booked a flight ticket from Chennai to Bangkok on MakeMyTrip. I paid the ticket fare through phonepe, my money got deducted and my booking is not confirmed. It is clearly mentioned in the receipt that the partners bank had confirmed the receipt of payment. When I contacted MakeMyTrip support, they were saying that the amount might have been struck in the payment gateway and you need to make a fresh booking in order to confirm your ticket. The flight fares have been increased in the meantime and I cannot afford to spend further money on the flight ticket. They were recklessly saying that the amount will be refunded in * days. I asked them can I get the same itinerary for the amount which I had booked now, but they were saying that they cannot assure that. I am really helpless and it lead to my mental sufferage and wastage of my working time. Please look into the issue and take action. Thanks in advance.
