Mi India - MI media streaming device not working but service provider not claiming warranty

Hi Team,
This is Rakesh R from Mysore, Karnataka. this is related to service of MI *K media streaming device which is in warranty period, this product is not working after use of * months, so product along with accessories & invoice given to Service center in kuvempungar branch, technician had checked the product & he found faulty with this product, need to replace.
But Service person told need outer box of this product to claim warranty which is not available with me. after so many request they checked internally to get approval & took a week time. after that finally they told not possible to claim warranty on this.
Please do the needful to get warranty ASAP as this device worked only for * months, only because of outer box they are completely declined to provide service, this is not acceptable.
NOTE : In Limited Warranty statement (terms & condition) require only purchase order number.
