SHIVANSH VATS filed complaint against OYO Rooms on May 29, 2019
I had checked-in at Capital O ***** LBD Resorts & Hotels via OYO and on the check-out date, as I wanted to leave a little late, I went to the reception to ask the charges. Both the hotel and OYO representatives told me to go back to my room as they would call to let me know the charge. This was at **am. Around *pm, I get a call from the reception saying I can either choose to checkout at that very moment or pay Rs. *** as charges. Since it was a little high for me, I picked up my luggage and rushed to the reception to check-out. Upon reaching, the receptionist told me, that a charge has been automatically levied of Rs. *** and that I have to pay it whether I choose to stay or leave. I have been duped, misled, misguided when I myself went and asked for the late charges. I received information wrong as well as late when I couldn't do anything but to pay. I called the OYO helpline several times but I was kept on hold every time and received no help from their end at all. The hotel blamed OYO as well for duping customers this way all the time.
I have attached the details of the booking and charges . Kindly look into my issue.
