BAKI YASWANTH REDDY filed complaint against Jio AirFiber on Apr 26, 2026
I booked Jio AirFiber service from Reliance Jio and paid Rs **** on ** May **** (Order ID: LR*****QWXX*, Receipt No: **bdfa*a*****df*). However, no technician ever visited my premises and no installation or service was provided.
I subsequently lodged complaints with the National Consumer Helpline (Grievance Nos: *******, *******, and *******). In response, the company admitted that my location was not feasible for AirFiber service and assured that the booking amount would be refunded within ** working days from **-**-****.
Despite the expiry of the committed refund period, no refund has been credited till date. The grievance was arbitrarily closed on **-**-**** with a misleading remark stating that the case was forwarded for refund processing, without actually issuing the refund.
The company has taken inconsistent and contradictory positions. Initially, it acknowledged non-feasibility and confirmed refund eligibility. Later, it falsely claimed that attempts were made to contact me and that my details were incomplete. Most recently, it stated that since the transaction is older than six months, my VPA/UPI ID is required to process the refund.
Complying with this requirement, I have provided my UPI details as follows:

Despite this, no refund has been processed. The company has neither contacted me via phone nor responded to my email sent to fibercare@jio.com
. All communication has only been through the NCH platform.
The company has received payment but failed to provide service or refund the amount. This conduct amounts to deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, negligence, misrepresentation, and unjust enrichment.
I request immediate refund of Rs **** along with the transaction reference/UTR number for verification. I also seek compensation for delay, harassment, and mental agony caused due to wrongful retention of my money.
