I’m extremely frustrated with my recent experience with Zomato. My order (ID: #**********) was meant for my father who was traveling by train. The delivery agent, Aman, claimed to have delivered the food but did not provide any details about the recipient. Despite my attempts to get information, he was unresponsive and did not clarify whom he handed the food to. By the time I realized the train had left the station, it was too late to retrieve the food.
I contacted Zomato’s support and was informed that sometimes food is delivered by walkers inside the train after ** minutes. I waited for ** minutes, but there was still no delivery. I spent over * hours in chat with Zomato’s executives from * PM to **:** PM, including waiting with a senior executive, but received no resolution.
The only information I received was that the delivery was given to an elderly person with a lady. For reference, my father was traveling alone and did not receive any call before or after the supposed delivery. This situation is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the reliability of your service.
This experience has been incredibly disappointing and inconvenient. I hope this issue can be resolved quickly. If not, I will be forced to lodge a formal complaint. It’s not just about the money or the food; it’s about the distress and inconvenience I have faced over the past *-* hours.
