Ankit Sharma filed complaint against Zomato on Aug 11, 2019
I ordered from KFC via Zomato on August *, ****. They delivered me a completely incorrect order. I placed an order for * chicken burgers, one chicken popcorn and one cold drink per bottle. My order id: **********.
I tried to get in touch with the zomato online support immediately after getting the incorrect order. I received *-* pieces of hot and crispy chicken and not a single thing from my original order. Even the delivery guy didn’t have the cold drink and somehow pulled out a warm can of coke from his bag (which I didn’t order). I got in touch with the online support and they told me to mail their online customers support. I did that and they reply-
With reference to your concerned order: **********, we checked with the restaurant and they confirmed that correct items were delivered to you. However, we have shared the feedback with them on serious notes to check the orders before dispatching and they have confirmed the same as well.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you, however, we would request you to get back to us on chat as soon as you get a wrong order so that we can get the order replaced for you.
Lastly, we assure you that we are constantly working on improving our services to give you a better and hassle-free experience with us.
I’ve been going back and forth with them over mails to get my refund and every time they’ve come up with an excuse. I am attaching the order images and the order details I actually placed. At last yesterday they said the order delivered was correct and I said “We are sorry but as per the details, you received the correct order so we won't be able to assist you further on this case.”.
This is plain harassment and day light theft. I’d at least like people to know about this even if I don’t get resolution
