On my recent trip to Maldives I booked a hotel Sheraton Full Moon Maldives for the date of **th Sep **** to *st Oct ****. I did my booking via Make My Trip . com but as it seems MMT did not make direct booking to Sheraton Maldives themselves and MMT - booked the hotel Via TATABYE / BOOKING . COM
Now the issue is When I booked my hotel Via MMT the reservation was for a KING COTTAGE (PREMIUM ROOM) but when I reached the hotel they showed me voucher of booking .com which had reservation for a DELUXE ROOM (BASIC ROOM) also the cost of reservation was different, it was higher by ** $ (incl taxes)
I am unable to understand this confusion, How is it possible that I booked a PREMIUM ROOM via MMT > MMT confirmed the RESERVATION also locked my booking for any change **days before travel with ***% penalty clause but on reaching the hotel the room allotted to me was the LOWER category room & the booking price was totally different than I booked.
I feel like a victim of reservation fraud & need help with full refund.
I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
