Zomato - got neither food nor my money zomato snached a students money

On **th October **** at around **:** PM, I placed an order on Zomato for a Wow Momos Burger Combo. From the menu listing, I understood it to be a vegetarian item. However, shortly after confirming the order, I realized that it was not vegetarian, so I immediately cancelled it within approximately * minutes of placing the order.

Despite cancelling it almost instantly, Zomato still charged me the full amount of ₹***.** as a cancellation fee. I found this to be completely unfair because the restaurant likely had not started preparing the order in such a short time. I tried to contact Zomato’s customer care through their in-app chat but received either automated responses or no meaningful help. There has been no refund or clear explanation from their side.

I want to seek legal advice or assistance in getting this wrongful amount refunded, as well as to understand if Zomato’s cancellation policy allows such charges for near-immediate cancellations.
