Jennifer Netarwala filed complaint against Zomato on Apr 21, 2022
I ordered food from a restaurant promoted by zomato as a 'zomato pro' partner on **th May ****. The food was rancid and spoilt and I got sick the next day with severe food poisoning and had to start antibiotics and miss work. The company helpdesk is treating my complaints as a joke, and instead of responding seriously and resolving the matter with action, keep sending the standard "sorry for inconvenience caused" emails. And they are blatantly ignoring my requests that they stop promoting the restaurant partner and return my nominal amount paid.
The number for the restaurant on their app is also not working and they wont share the correct contact details either. They are making me run around in circles purposely which is very rude adn aggravating.
On the customer service chat I have been promised on three occasions over the last three days that i will most surely be getting a call back within ** hours over and over and they still have not bothered. When the time frame runs out i get on the chat to remind them and cycle repeats.
Nobody is taking this seriously! Zomato is completely unconcerned and negligent of their part in endangering a customers health and takes no responsibility that I am very sick as a result of the food they promoted to me.
Either the customer service desk is treating my concerns lightly or ignoring them as "too much trouble to bother" which is reprehensible or the company has systems in place to aviod such matters and they have been told to avid and delay as a tactic.
Eitherway I am want to serve them a notice for endangering my health and purposely harassing me during the complaints resolution process
