Nitin Gosain filed complaint against Ibibo on Nov 23, 2018
I have booked * hotels through Ibibo and the first one was under IBIBO satisfaction guarantee, The hotel wasn't clean at all and I was given dirty and torn off bedsheets and even after my complaint, it wasn't replaced. I lodged a complaint and also submitted the pictures to IBIBO and they did nothing but kept on calling me and asking me to adjust, finally one person said that he will provide me **** rs ibibo credit. I was asking for complete refund as per IBibo policy only and till date i didn't get anything, Not even the ****rs ibibo credit.
Then my second booking turned to be even disastrous, When I was doing the booking, the hotel shown to me was less than *km away from Imagica and I booked it and to my surprise when I reached to Imagica, there is no hotel there and the hotel was in Pune. I called Ibibo and they had no solution, they said they will call me and will give me another hotel, that day I was with my family with* kids, one being only * months old and it was raining and nobody called us and finally after *-* hours I found a hotel for myself and paid the money myself.
Then I spoke to them about the refund and they said do u have a screenshot of this problem, I replied if I knew in advance why would I do it.
Post that I was talking for at least remaining * days refund and multiple people called me and did nothing and kept on blaming the hotel that they are not refunding. Finally last day I spoke to the hotel manager myself and he said he would do the refund for * day since only one day is left and he also told me had IBIBO people sent him a cancellation memo, he could have done the refund for * days. Even after talking to him on a concall with ibibo people, next morning I checked, Ibibo person still hadn't sent the cancellation memo and I had to call again to ensure that they send it because when I called the hotel manager again, he confirmed if he doesn't receive the memo before ** noon, he wouldn't do the refund for last day as well. After my relentless follow up at least I was able to get *day refund. After that Ibibo told me they can provide me ****rs ibibo credit and like the first booking i got NOTHING.
My ask is that I should get the refund for one-day since that was clearly a lack of effort and a big mistake on ibibo's end and also I should be given ibibo credit as promised.
