C SATHYA NARAYANA filed complaint against Sony on Nov 12, 2020
Hi,
Purchased Sony **X****H TV from Amazon on **.**.**** and was delivered on
**.**.**** Order Id ***-*******-*******
Sony company is offering Sony wireless headphones for the above mentioned model as
festival gift for the period **.**.**** to **.**.****.
When TV was delivered there was no gift, contacted Amazon and was told to contact
Sony company. Sony clarified that they are not into direct sales and told us to
contact the seller ie Amazon.
Now Amazon customer care says that we had not clicked the free gift options while
buying the TV.
When we were booking the TV we had not come across the option or may have not
noticed.
Hope this is not a contest or Quiz to tick and answer any fields.
Anyway ,the gift is provided by the manufacturer to the customer, whether he buys
from e commerce sites or from the stores. What is making Amazon to hold the gift
item due to the customer.
Amazon should not indulge into these type of unfair practices and cheap
cheating tactics.
Please find the below mentioned mail reverted by Amazon.

Category Team and received an update that the promotion was only for a limited set
of customers, who were sent coupon codes on **th October ****. The customer has to
add the headphone in his cart from seller "Cloudtail" and then use the coupon code
to avail discount. If the promotion was about a free headset announced on the sony
website, I'd request you to kindly reach out to them for further assistance.
