Shyamal Mukherjee filed complaint against PayTM on Jan 13, 2020
On **.**.**** around **:** hours undersigned received a call from phone no **********
Informing that he is a representative of Paytm and that I need to carry out token online
transactions of Rs **/- or **/- through each of my saved cards in the Paytm wallet for KYC
authentication/ compliance. The person kept me guiding online to carry out the same and it
was going on for nearly one and a half hours. During the process a total transaction of Rs *
lakhs approx was made from my various accounts involving credit cards of HDFC bank (*lakh), ICICI bank ( ** thousand ) and Savings account ICICI bank (** thousand) either through paytm wallet or direct transactions. The details have been shared in FIR lodged with cybercrime branch Kolkata police, HDFC bank, ICICI bank and paytm. Paytm has not intimated any details of investigations nor followed RBI guidelines for protecting customers' liabilities in spite of reporting within hours.
