Samit Brahmachari filed complaint against Amazon.in on Dec 16, 2021
Myself, Samit Brahmachari & Smt Paramita Brahmachari (Spouse) had noticed on **.**.** that **.**.** onwards, ** number of transactions have been made from our Savings Account of ICICI Bank (A/c No: ***XXXXX**** & ATM-cum-Debit Card: **** XXXX XXXX ****) which are totally illegal and fraud. The last fraudulent transaction date was **.**.**. Total amount has been debited from our account is Rs. **,***.**. All these transactions have been made through Amazon.in and we were totally unaware of such transactions. We have never done at our end nor authorized anybody to do such transactions.
The transactions details:
*. Starting from **.**.** to **.**.**, total ** numbers of transactions made, amounting of each transaction was Rs. **** and one transactions, amounting of Rs. ***, in totality = Rs. **** x ** + Rs. *** – Rs. **** (failed transaction) = Rs. *****.
*. On **.**.**, Transactions were made – Rs. **** + Rs. **** + Rs. **** + Rs. **** + Rs. **** = Rs. *****.
Overall transacted amount: Rs. ***** + Rs. ***** = Rs. **,***.**.
On **.**.**, we had conversion with Amazon customer care executive – Ms Priyadarshini (Toll Free Number:**** **** ****) at *.** PM and came to know that ** numbers of transactions (Point No:*) were done for purchase of Gift vouchers which are not authorized by us. Requested her to cancel such gift vouchers and refund Rs. ***** to our mentioned ICICI bank account immediately.
All total, including of amount for gift vouchers, Rs. **,***.** have been deducted from our account through Amazon.in without our consent & knowledge. We have neither received any message nor authorized anybody to do the same.
We require your needful involvement to settle down the amount of Rs. **,***.** as early as possible..
We have registered our complain in West Bengal Police (Noapara – ** Parganas – North), ICICI Bank (Shyamnagar Branch – ICIC*******) - and Amazon.in.
