Royal Moonlight Resort - Fraudulent Holiday Membership Sold by Misrepresentation

I am filing this complaint against Royals Moonlight Resort for fraudulently selling membership for ₹**,*** on **.**.**** which was paid through my ICICI Credit Card (ending ****), which was subsequently converted into an EMI plan.

At the time of sale, the merchant’s representative promised:
- Accommodation at *-star and *-star hotels,
- Free stay for * adults and * children,
- Premium holiday benefits with simple and hassle-free booking.

However, once the payment was made:
- I was informed that only *-star hotels were being offered.
- Additional charges were imposed for children whereas two kids were promised free stay— Moreover the charges for extra bedding for two kids were even more than the price of an extra room for two at the same property.
- The actual services were completely different from what was committed.

This is a clear case of misrepresentation and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, ****.

Steps Already Taken:
- Emailed Royals Moonlight on **.**.**** requesting cancellation and refund.
- Sent a reminder email on **.**.****, but received no response.
- Raised a formal dispute with ICICI Bank and submitted supporting documentation.

Evidence Attached:
*. Email to Royals Moonlight (dated **.**.****) and reminder email (dated **.**.****).
*. Screenshots of WhatsApp chats with their executive Mr. Amar Chhetri, clearly promising *–* star hotels.
*. Copy of the signed agreement from Royals Moonlight Resort.
*. E-mail correspondence in which it was informed only * star hotel are there and extra bedding charges were demanded.

Relief Sought:
- Immediate cancellation of the membership
- Full refund of ₹**,***
- Prevention of further fraudulent sales practices by this merchant
- Compensation for mental harassment and financial distress caused
