Qnet India Vihaan Direct Selling Pvt Ltd - Fraud by IR and refund not being paid

A friend of mine, Mr. Vijit Agarwal, introduced me to this business. He just told me that he works on footfall expansion and works on international projects. He refused to talk about his business, did not provide me correct information and just told me to trust and join. He scheduled my interview with his upline, Mr. Kalyaneshwar Prasad Shyam. Mr. Kalyan informed me that I shall have to pay Rs. *,**,*** and that it was not an investment. The money was start-up cost which will be used for generating my business license and shall be used to get access to ***+ companies products and set up a virtual office.

When I asked Mr. Vijit to tell me everything about the business before I pay the money, he asked to trust him and pay the amount. After that, I was given books to read and some training sessions started. Also, I was asked to watch some videos. This went on for around a month. He also purchased some package of QVI Trip Saver without my knowledge and without any information.

Then I was asked to talk to my friends and relatives and lie to them about the business and ask them to join. I felt that this is wrong and asked my upline, Mr. Vikas why do have to lie to anyone, but he did not give any apt answer.

After that, in one of the videos shared on WhatsApp, the speaker asked to visit the company website, i.e. www.qnet.com. However, the website was blocked by the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. When I asked the uplines, i.e. Mr. Vijit, Mr. Mrinal, Mr. Vikas, Mr. Kalyan, etc. about it, I was informed by Mr. Vijit that this website was old. Then, I was informed about a *-day event VCON in which it was again discussed about the same website. I told Mr. Vijit about this but did not get any satisfactory answer.

Then I started researched online. I saw that Vihaan Direct Selling (India) Private Limited, the company thorough which Qnet operates in India, has not filed Returns online on the MCA website. Also, Qnet and Vihaan were under investigation by the Economic Offences Wing, the Serious Fraud Investigation Office and MCA. I discussed the matter with DCP Mumbai and the concerned investigating officer of EOW Mumbai. I shared their contact details with Mr. Vijit, but he did not talk to them.

I also found that the sister concerns of Qnet, i.e. Goldquest International Pvt. Ltd. and Questnet Enterprises India Pvt. Ltd. were convicted by SFIO. Mr. Vijit told me that all matters have been cleared by the Supreme Court. However, as on date, the matter is still under dispute and all officials of Qnet have been granted bail by the Supreme Court on personal bond of Rs. ** crores each. After that, I asked Mr. Vijit for refund of my money, but he said that refund will not be possible

These IRs are interested in the amount of money the prospect pays because that's what is directly proportional to the commission flowing towards the uplines. They don’t keep things clear and transparent. And, DREAMS is their ultimate target and that's what they try to manipulate you when they say “this business will make all your dreams come true”. The entire process of recruitment is based on lies. I later understood that they are running a scam and are committing fraud with people. They wanted me to add new members into their chain so that they could make commission and profit.
