Md Mustafa Alam filed complaint against Rapido on Jun 4, 2026
I'm an engineer and I do work as part-time rapido rider.
A penalty of Rs. *** deducted from my recent wallet redemption of Rs. **** without any valid reason.
On June *, ****, my redemption request was placed on a **-hour hold. On June *, at **:** AM, I received a call from +************, informing me that I had been penalized Rs. *** due to "invalid rides." However, no clear explanation or proof was provided. I was told to contact the Captain Helpline for further resolution. Shortly after this call, only Rs. **** was credited to my bank account.
I subsequently spent * hours and ** minutes on a call with the helpline, speaking with a representative and her senior, Khusboo Parveen. Throughout the call:
*I was repeatedly told to visit the city office, despite my clarification that no such office exists in my location.
*I was denied access to specific order details or an opportunity to speak with higher management.
*Earlier her junior mentioned the order ending with #**** as invalid ride. I even argued that how can I drop female customer at unsafe location if there is slight difference in drop off location(Actual drop location she said - *.* kms, drop location in app - *.**kms).But when I pointed that customer was at fault and the order was done after redeem request they started saying that they were mistaken.
The problem is that they don't want to fix their app first so they start accusing the riders.
They penalized riders nominal account and ask them to visit the city office, some riders ignore since they have been charged negligible amount and doesn't visit the city office. And that's how they are making money.
Please help me for getting the issue resolve this and so that rapido revoke the penalty.
