Flipkart - Flipkart Cheated by Providing Used Laptop and Short Warranty on HP Victus Order ID

I purchased an HP Victus Laptop from Flipkart (Order ID: OD******************) on **th October ****. As per the product listing and HP’s official warranty policy, the laptop carries * year of manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase.

However, upon checking the warranty details on HP’s official website, it shows that the warranty is valid only till **th August ****, which is less than one year from the actual purchase date. This clearly indicates that the product was already activated earlier and hence not a brand-new unit.

This means that Flipkart has supplied a used or pre-activated laptop while selling it as new, which amounts to cheating and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, ****. Despite paying the full price for a new product, I have been provided with a unit that was already in use or activated earlier, thereby depriving me of my full warranty entitlement.
