I had purchased Acer Aspire * Core i* *th Gen - (* GB/* TB HDD/Linux) A***-** Laptop (**.* inch, Steel Gray, *.* kg) order no. OD******************.
This item was available on exchange. So i had bought it in exchange of my HP laptop. The exchange criteria before buying the Acer laptop only asked * things :
*. Brand ( HP)
*. Processor (i*)
*. Serial no. of my laptop
I entered all three details and got the buyback quote of ****/- on the Acer laptop which was worth **,***/-. So i bought the Acer laptop at **,***/- .(***rs was added as pickup charge for HP laptop). I paid the full amount. When the delivery executive came for delivering the Acer laptop and taking the HP laptop, he started checking with new criteria(which was not mentioned at the time of buyback and purchase quote). My laptop satisfied all criteria like no scratches and good working condition except for white patches on the screen. The delivery executive refused to take my laptop for exchange saying that it does not satisfy the required criteria. Note: This new criteria was not mentioned at the time of purchase.I read all the terms and conditions very carefully, there was no mention of criteria like "patches or dead pixels". I had deleted all the data from my HP laptop specifically because of exchange. I am a student studying for exams. And this has caused great inconvenience,not to mention that flipkart has debited **,*** from my account already,i did not get my purchased laptop.
Summary: Flipkart rejected pick up item based on criteria that was not mentioned at the time of purchase.
