Arindam Chakraborty filed complaint against Flipkart on Oct 26, 2018
Dear Sir/Madam,
Having no positive response from Flipkart Customer Care, Escalation Team and Grievance Team, I am forwarding this for your support in this regard.
I am a very old Flipkart customer and quite happy with the service but very recently facing sudden cancelation of transactions in a very frequent manner.
*. This has reference to the last offer made just before the Navratri / Durga Puja where I purchased * Fans vide order no. order ID OD****************** in one order out of which two were delivered in time and rest four were supposed to be delivered **th Oct. Not getting any positive response, I raised a complaint yesterday and the operator told me that the same would be delivered by **th Oct. But on **th Oct, I received a email communication. Later, I was confirmed that the same is due Courier problem seller was unable to match the complaint.
*. The purchase was made with no cost EMI and after cancelation; I will be charged cancellation fee as well interest for the purchase which is cancelled. Again this amount will kept on the credit card for future use. And my money is blocked.
*. Instantly, I started communicating the grievance team for remedy and now the cause suddenly changed and now I was informed that seller was unable to supply * units of the item hence canceled the transaction.
*. Obvious question arrived, why after ** days of waiting seller suddenly woke up to find that he cannot supply more than * units ?
*. Again, who will compensate for these harassment, time loss, loss of money and harassment for managing the EMI as well.
*. Now the escalation team comes with the solution, Seller will manage difference value for two quantities and rest I have to borrow. But the arrogance lies in the area where CS exe accepting suggestion by saying “move to any authorities, the resolution will remain same”.
*. Now, I also wonder that the Kent RO vide order no OD****************** on **nd October can also be cancelled in due course since it had already failed it’s schedule. On **nd October. The delivery details shows that the shipment arrived at Dhulagarh delivery location on **th and still it was not delivered. This transaction was also converted to Smart Emi in hdfc card.
*. Now, my question is EMI option is introduced when such situation cannot be handled by Flipkart ?
*. I believe that, the price tag increases (earlier Rs.**** and now Rs. ****), the seller awaited cancellation of the order. This kind of scenario happened earlier as well but I never took it so seriously because of the size and type of the transaction.
**. If there was a min qty option, the application would not allow to book the same ? I sam that option earlier with Flipkart. Now, instead blaming the vendor, Flipkart is taking actions on the buyer because buyers are helpless and nobody will stand by their side forcing them accepting their problem.
**. Finally, I decided not to with Flipkart anymore unless they accept for their mistakes, I want to be compensated on the ground of harassment, time loss, mis-interpretation and fraudulent behavior and financial loss due to EMI conversion.
If you do agree with me, and think that I will be compensated in these ground, please support me for the hundreds customer who regularly come across such incidents.
