Zudio - Flimsy pants

I needed some pants for the occasion next day, so I dropped into Zudio, Pondy Bazaar (from where my I bought a bunch of clothes along with a navy chinos a week early) This time I needed grey pants. First impression was in itself a very flimsy feel, almost seemed like if you gave it a slight tug holding the loops, it will rip in half. But I thought this is what you get for the price, and I needed some pants for the interviews the next day and I was strapped for cash. So I shelled *** ( **** total bill including some accessories) for a 'chinos’. Believe me that is what they call this wafer thin see through prop pants.

The grey pants which looked good under the lights and mirrors of the outlet looked metallic in the normal sunlight and that didn’t bode well with the kind of textures I had on my t shirt. I live far away from the outlet, so I thought I could use this for the occasion as I had no choice to get a new one and could keep the pants around for casual use. I did not wear it since that one wear, I took it out to wear it to the shop today. I just held it against the light accidentally and noticed the see through areas have developed holes. I thought damn, what a cheap fabric it must be if it develops holes by itself. Even if one can say I might have ripped it accidentally against some abrasive surface, I found holes all over the garment- in the front, in the seams where the loops were stitched etc.. If a garment develops holes in them with just one wear, and not even a wash how would you even trust the brand? Imagine wearing it to your job interview, that one interview that’s your last hope and your pants rips while sitting. Forget wearing it on your date/special occasions. Fast fashion doesn’t mean cheap fabric.
