Make My Trip Pvt Ltd - Flight canceled, agents failed to inform

I had travelled to Langkawi via Kuala Lumpur from Bangalore booked through MakemyTrip. The return flight from Langkawi to KL got canceled. When enquired at the airlines in Langkawi, they said agents (MakemyTrip is our agent in this case) were informed about cancelation and passengers were boarded to an earlier flight. When I called up CustomerCare in MakeMyTrip, they said I have to talk and sort it out with Airlines and they had no information about cancelation. Also none of the refund has come yet.
