​*. Factual Summary of the Complaint:
​I Nathan Murali, am a customer of Club Resorto and a holder of Membership ID CRHL******-****. I am filing this complaint due to a severe deficiency in service and unfair trade practices by the company.
​On August **, ****, I was convinced by Club Resorto's sales representatives to purchase a **-year membership for a total of ₹*,**,***. The deciding factor for my immediate full payment was a special, time-bound offer that promised a complimentary *-night, *-day Asia trip, including both accommodation and flight tickets. This offer was explicitly given as an incentive for immediate full payment.
​Following my payment, I have faced a continuous and deliberate pattern of obstruction and non-delivery of the promised services:
​Japan: My first booking request for a trip to Japan was met with significant delays. After weeks of back and forth, the company confirmed rooms and flights but then claimed the visa process would take at least ** days, making the trip impossible given my pre-planned vacation dates of October *st to *th.
​Hong Kong: I then requested an alternative trip to Hong Kong, a destination with no visa requirements for Indian citizens. My request was again met with delays, and I was eventually informed that there was "no inventory available."
​Indonesia: My final booking request for Indonesia was stalled, with the company claiming the case was with "senior management" for a resolution.
​Despite multiple follow-up emails sent on September *th, **th, **th, and **th, I received no substantive response. A recent email response from Club Resorto on September **nd was evasive and non-committal, stating they were "actively working on [my] concern" without providing any concrete booking details or a timeframe.
​Additionally, I have faced significant issues with the EMI conversion process. I was told that the company would handle the EMI conversion with my bank. However, my bank informed me that this responsibility lies with the merchant (Club Resorto). This miscommunication and the lack of a proper process have resulted in further frustration and financial inconvenience.
​The company has failed to deliver the core service that was the primary inducement for my purchase. My vacation dates are now just ** days away, and it is clear that they have no intention of honoring their commitment. This is a clear case of a breach of contract and a complete failure to deliver on promised services.
​*. Relief Sought:
​In light of the company's clear and repeated failure to provide the services I paid for, I demand the following relief:
​A full and immediate refund of ₹*,**,*** for the membership fee.
​Compensation for the mental agony, harassment, and inconvenience caused by their deceptive practices and lack of communication.
​I have attached all relevant email correspondence, the payment receipt, and the membership agreement as evidence. I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution through this platform.
