Rakesh Sharma filed complaint against OLA on Jul 18, 2023
I took a ride from Ambience mall to Sector ** Gurgaon (** kms) and the estimated fare was Rs ***. The amount paid was Rs **** as per invoice as it showed multiple stops enroute though I had not typed them while booking the cab. I never touched these points and the distance logged was ** kms . It translates to Rs ** per km. The support team of OLA claims that I confirmed a ride for sector ** but I never typed that as destination. It appears to be a software glitch in Ola App. The invoice shows multiple destinations ie sector ** & sector ** before the final destination at Sectoe ** which showed on screen after confirming the ride and shown to driver also.Then how could the driver take me to final destination only and not touch these sectors enroute. Ola cannot penalise a customer for the glitches in their software which embedded multiple stops in my booking. I request the Forum to take a practical view on the distance travelled and the fare charged on equitable and comparable basis as per estimated fare shown at the time of booking.
