Amazon India - Empty carton without product recieved

I ordered on bag on **th October, order no ***-*******-******* , It was a bag worth Rs ****/-.
Requested amazon to deliver before **rd as i was to leave abroad for few days.Money was paid in advance.
They delivered the carton on **th when nobody was there at home. Although they handed over the carton to a dhobi who is doing ironing job outside my house , in message received by me , they mentioned my name as recipient although on given date i was not at all in India.
I raised complaint for that , but no response from amazon at all.
When we came to India on *rd November and took that packed from dhobi (honest person), packet was totally seal packed. When we opened, we were shocked to see that inside bigger carton, there was smaller carton which was teared from sides. There was no bag at all inside the carton. Very Very shocking.
Amazon customer care is just saying we will investigate but have no convincing answer for this kind of theft going on. Since packet was sealed from outside, it is there own person who has done that. Also, if we are not there, why it has been handed over to third person without my permission. This is done because they knew we are not there (as we were requesting to deliver one day earlier) and hence there will be nobody who will be checking the packet for few days.
Never ever pay in advance with amazon. they have zero control on their delivery team. Thieves.
