SHIVAM YADAV filed complaint against Make My Trip on Feb 11, 2021
I booked a hotel room via MMT for * guests including me consisting of * male and * female for * day i.e. on *nd Feb ****. Before entering the hotel room, we confirmed our check-in, the reception replied in negative that * males and * female cannot enter into a single room, when asked for any legal policy, he simply said contact MMT. Read each and every policy very diligently on MMT but found no such policy. Finally * guests were allowed to enter, the hotel room was very untidy, washroom was smelly, but the major issue was the balcony door's lock was broke, thus the chilling breeze was coming in and it was very cold in the night. We asked the reception guy to change our room or find an alternative, he replied in negative that nothing can be done, contacted MMT Support at *:** AM, he took **-** mins. and confirmed that they agreed to change the room. But no one came to change the room after waiting for ** more minutes, finally had no other option, asked for * extra linen and had to sleep there only, my friend got cold the next day. Complained about the whole issue to the MMT support next morning, they were just being sympathetic but on the other hand they were arrogant that since you have completed the booking, nothing can be done. I took this to Twitter, there also they are saying this is our final decision, do whatever you want to do. I mean what kind of retarded mentality is this, that * guys and a girl can't check-in, we have paid for three guests, then we have faced a lot of issues, just simply asking for our refund, despite of taking responsibilities of whatever has happened, they are being so rude and unjustifiable.
