Agoda - Denied accommodation and refund not initiated

I have booked accommodation on Saturday i.e. Feb **nd in Kartik holiday cottages through your application. We had booked * rooms and also spoke to the person in charge (leaser) from the number which was provided to us.

The person (phone no: ***********) had confirmed and also agreed to provide additional facilities like a bonfire.

After an hour he stopped taking our call we had to wait till midnight and when we reached the property there was no one thereafter inquiring we got to know the property was under renovation and was accommodating no one.

This is a clear case of fraud !. We had also tweeted about the same on social media platform Twitter with no response

The customer care service is useless no one answers any phone call. We had to wander in the blistering cold to get accommodation at midnight in an unfamiliar place. The Agoda team is responsible for all the trouble that we went through. You people should verify the credentials of the person in charge of the property and provide additional contact details of property owners or the staff.

We had a really bad experience and I will recommend others to never use your app again.
