Design Cafe - Delay in Interior designer company Design cafe

I am writing to raise a complaint formally regarding the interior design project that I booked with Design Cafe for my residence. We had signed the agreement in Sept **** and initiated the project with the expectation of professional planning, timely execution, and accurate design feasibility.

Unfortunately, the project has faced multiple interruptions and delays due to recurring design and execution issues. The project team visited the site several times and later informed us that certain previously approved designs were unfeasible or inoperable. These issues were identified only after work had already been planned, which caused repeated changes, confusion, and unnecessary delays.

As a client, this situation has caused significant inconvenience, loss of time, and disruption to our move-in plans. Now they have given a quotation, which is feasible to us after removing the TV cum puja unit and crockery unit. Still the quotation remains the same

The key concerns are as follows:

Multiple project delays due to design changes after approval.

Lack of proper feasibility checks before confirming designs.

Site visits where the team later declared approved designs as “not possible."

Poor coordination between the design team and execution team.

Lack of clear communication on revised timelines.

Given these ongoing issues, I request the following:

A clear explanation for the repeated design feasibility problems.



Appropriate compensation or corrective measures for the delays and inconvenience caused. I have requested multiple times for a cancellation of the project.
Now after speaking with the concerned branch head, they are refusing a refund, stating that you have signed the agreement, haven't you checked?
