I purchased an “Audi Wooden King Bed” (Order No: SQ-****-*********) from Royaloak (Kadubeesanahalli, Bangalore) on July **, ****. Within just a few months, the central bed platform began bending and sagging in the middle, making it unsafe and extremely uncomfortable to use. The structure bends so badly that when I lie down, I roll into the center, causing significant back pain and making it impossible to sleep.
I have made repeated complaints to Royaloak and had two technician visits. Both technicians acknowledged it was a design flaw, but the store manager refused responsibility, dismissing it as a “design issue” and providing no solution. Customer care has repeatedly claimed the issue is “part of the product’s natural design,” which is completely incorrect. No bed should sag so severely that it cannot support normal weight.
The issue is a clear structural and functional defect, not an aesthetic element. It violates basic quality standards and the Consumer Protection Act (****), which guarantees products must be safe, fit for use, and free from major defects. The bed is less than four months old and already unusable.
Despite providing extensive photographic and video evidence, Royaloak has denied my claim and refused replacement or refund, citing internal policy.
I am requesting a full replacement with a non-defective product or a complete refund of ₹**,***. I am attaching clear photos of the defect as proof
