Bewakoof.com - Defective Product Received Return Delays and Forced Wallet Refund by Bewakoof

I ordered a pant from Bewakoof (Order delivered on **th April ****). The product was good but the size was too big, so I requested a replacement. The original pant was picked up the same day, and I received the replacement (size **) on **rd April.

To my shock, the replacement pant appeared used and defective-the color was faded around the pockets, and there was lint inside, clearly indicating it was not a new product. I immediately initiated a return request and attached photos as evidence.

The next day, the delivery agent attempted pickup, but due to a system error (size mismatch), the return could not be processed and the product was returned to me. The agent explained that the system only allowed him to select generic sizes like "Medium," which did not match my product's size **, causing the error. He assured me the return option would reopen soon.

However, for two days there was no update from either Bewakoof or Delhivery. I raised a support ticket and repeatedly tried to contact Bewakoof via their chatbot, but received only automated responses with no real action. There was no response to my ticket even after **+ hours. This lack of support is unacceptable and is widely reported by other customers as well.

Now, although the return option has finally reopened, Bewakoof is using an unfair tactic to force the refund into their wallet credits instead of my original payment method. The app does not allow me to select the "Original Payment" option-it is visible but disabled, and only wallet refund is permitted. This practice is misleading and restricts my right to receive my refund in the same manner as my original payment, as required by fair business practices.

There are numerous complaints online about Bewakoof forcing wallet refunds and not providing timely or effective customer support. Many customers, including myself, are left with wallet credits that cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.

I request the following:

Immediate update of my return status and prompt pickup of the defective product.

Refund of the full amount (₹****) to my original payment method (bank/UPI/card), not to the Bewakoof Wallet.
