We ordered an LG ** inch *K Smart TV on **th of June from flipkart for our parents at Aluva, Ernakulam, Kerala ( Order ID: OD******************) Invoice generated on **th, delivery was from Bathla Teletech Pvt Ltd, Ship-from Address: Madhakondapalli Village ,Denkanikotta Taluk , Hosur , Krishnagiri District , Tamil Nadu - ******, GSTIN - **AAECB****C*ZC, invoice number FADZXE**********. TV was delivered on **th . A service personnel from LG came the very next day and on switching on the TV showed us that the piece is defective LED Panel was totally defective. We placed a request for replacement of defective TV on *st July.
FlipKart initially said that the piece would be inspected on *th for return, then shifted it to *th, and then the date got shifted to *th and then to **th. We patiently waited until **th and on **th evening they updated that the defective piece wont be replaced as the issue has been resolved!!! Fraud! We had to call up customer support and threaten with the entire history to get them ‘accept’ there has been an error from them. Now they have promised that the defective piece would be picked up on **th and a replacement given on **th.
** days after knowing that the TV is defective we are still waiting and worrying about the future of the money that we have spent on an online delivery that we have no control over. Is this the ‘FlipKart’ way of extorting money from customers? To keep them waiting and hope that the customer would finally give up wishing to get the money back or a working device back.
The flipkart people are fraudulently making changes in my account changing the status to "return request cancelled.." This is a serious cyber crime.
