Xiaomi Technology India Private Limited - Defective phone received and company not granting replacement

I bought the product in its first launch sale from flipkart on **-**-**** and the product was delivered to me on **-**-****. i used the phone for about * month then its screen stopped working suddenly on **-**-**** without any physical damage or scratches. i visited the service center on the same day i.e. **-**-**** and the service center personnel checked for damages and found none and assured to replace the phone and told me to bring the phone with box and all its contents and the invoice as per my convenience. But when i visited the service center on **-**-**** with all the contents of the box and the phone with its invoice then they started making excuses that replacement is not possible as company has reached its target to replace the defective phones.
