Dakshit chopra filed complaint against Asus India on Sep 17, 2021
Last year, on ** December,**** I bought ASUS TUF A** (Notebook FA***II) laptop for ***** INR. For a while, I didn't used headphone jack, otherwise it was working fine.
It was around February, when I plugged in my wired headphone, which didn't work, so I did system reset and all sort of things. I contacted their engineer, he couldn't find hardware issue, and due to my university exams, I told them to keep my complaint open, but still they closed.
Till July, I called them for onsite visits three times, but they couldn't fix the laptop.
Also in the meantime, my keyboard keys got faded, which was not expected from such an expensive laptop, so I called them for replacement on * August,****.
That day, engineer spotted manufacturing defect in headphone jack. After replacement of keyboard, my system ran into BSOD, and soon after bluetooth stopped working. I called the engineer specifically to fix, and he couldn't fix the bluetooth issue properly. Also, my wifi started malfunctioning, obstructing me from using laptop.
I had university exams in August, so I asked them to keep my complaint open and applied for motherboard replacement as advised by onsite engineer.
They fixed onsite appointment on * Sept,**** with RMA INGHM*****. But they didn't even contact me, and after calling them, they told me that part has ordered. They didn't tell why they cancelled the appointment.
Later they kept me darkness, I called them every other day to know status of my complaint. The customer support has no idea, so they started asking me the questions, which they were supposed to ask to service centre (like is your part delivered to service centre).
Appointment was fixed on **/**/** and **/**/**, but no one showed up and they didn't inform about cancelling of appointments.
Everytime I call them, they say engineer is on their way, but neither the engineer nor the asus customer support, contacted me till now.
The laptop has been hindering my work, since I am failing to do my lab work in college.
The customer support has been lying and so I have asked for refund, since ASUS India dont know professionalism of handling a situation. Their engineer damage the laptop and the keyboard on laptop is made of cheap quality which fades away quickly.
