Vishal Ladiwal filed complaint against Amazon India on Dec 30, 2018
I had bought a bedside cabinet through amazon (seller is Santosha decor). The product was delivered * days later than the scheduled delivery period. Also the packaging was such that had to arrange a carpenter to open it. It took me more than ** days to arrange for the same. The product was damaged which on complaining the seller agreed to return it. When I insisted on courier charges the seller denied return by saying that ** day return period is over.there are three points of my argument
*) product is damaged . I am not asking for a return like many others do just because they don’t want to buy it anymore.
*) if the seller has the right to delay delivery by * days does he have moral right to give * days as an excuse to deny return.
*) since he has agreed to return it in first place how come he later on deny taking it back (just because I insisted on courier charges).
