Please note the chronology of the ordeal I have to face for the damaged Hisense LED delivered to my place by Tata Cliq team:
*. The order was placed on Oct *, ****
*. The delivery was confirmed for Oct *, ****
*. On Oct *, ****, I was informed that the delivery is delayed and I would be communicated when the delivery is rescheduled by Tata Cliq (I never made any issue for delay in delivery and late communication for the delivery)
*. On Oct *, ****, Blue dart delivery guy called (around *.**PM) and informed LED has come and he came to my apartment on **th Floor with the Product. Firstly I informed him that I was not available at home (Note that I disapproved his entry to my apartment complex through MyGate) but he informed that he has got the courier to my apartment. I requested to him to wait for **-** min so that I can send my sister. He initially agreed and I informed my sister to reach the apartment. After * Min, the delivery guy informed that he has to go for some priority delivery /hospital and would reach back to my place by *.** PM. I requested him to wait for * min and complete the delivery but he didnt agreed and said that he would be coming at *.** PM. My sister kept waiting for him till * PM and finally when I checked with him, I was informed that now he can not come and will come by evening. I informed him to come only after * PM after confirming with me. But the guy called at *PM and informed that he is near my apartment for delivery and I told him that I would not be available. To this the delivery guy informed that he will deliver the LED next day early morning to which I agreed. (I have never faced so much co-ordination back and forth with delivery guys and waster my * days on calling and co-ordinating for delivery of LED which was damaged and not usable)
*. Next day i.e. Oct **, ****, started with me chasing the Blue Dart team since morning. The delivery guy initially infomed that he will deliver post **.** AM. After ** noon again on my checking I was informed that no vehicle is available and they are trying to arrange the same (This is shocking the kind of logistic partner chosen by Tata Cliq) Later on again checking at *.**,PM I was shared with the me mobile no of another guy scheduled to deliver the product. The mobile number privided was not working and after ** min different no was give and upon checking with the third guy, I was informed that delivery will happen by *.** PM.
*. At last after chasing Blue dart delivery guy again, delivery happened at *.** PM. To my surprise no delivery code was asked for delivering the product. And also the delivery guy has not staff to carry the LED to **th floor and aksed for help from the securitry gaurd on Duty. The way they got the LED was like carrying luggage and not an electronic delivery.
*. The delivery guy asked for my name and Mobile. I aasked him to open the box to whih he replied you can open on your own and thus I opened to check the LED.
*. When I saw the damaged screen was so disheartened and immediately called the delivery guy to take back the damaged product but he told that they are only responsible for delivery and I should be calling TATA CLIQ.
*. I called Tata Cliq I informed about the damaged product delivery and return / refund of the same. I was shared the complaint mobile no where I was asked to send the pictures and details of the issue
**. I shared the case details along with the pictures of damamged LED on whats app but never got any revert on the same.
**. On Oct **, **** (**.**AM), I received an email from Tata Cliq confirming the delivery on Oct **, **** although the delivery was done on Oct **, **** at *.** PM. (This e-mail receied on Oct **, **** mentions not to open the packaging although no other intimation was sent to me. This e-mail came next day of delivery)
**. On Oct **, **** I got a call from Tata Cliq customer care that the return is not possible since I opened the box on my own and now I should contact Hisense directly and Tata is not responsible for the same. I communicated back to them that no information of this aspect was ever shared with me. (Since no e-mail till the time of delivery was received by me.
Please understand that I have booked / purchased the product from Tata Cliq and not your other vendors (including Blue Dart / Hisense). Tata Cliq is fully responsible to provide me the service / product promised and failing to do o amounts to deficiency of services and Tata Cliq has to compensate me for the same.
I'm sure the above would help you to take the necessary correct measures and process the replacement / refund immediately. Failing to above, I would be left with no option but to file a case in National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) and other appellant authorities for the compensation in respect of the amount paid for the damaged product and damages for the mental agony done to me by Tata Cliq (including misrepresentation / deficiency in services).
