Manikant Baile filed complaint against Airtel on Jul 4, 2018
I had to make a call to Australia and I went to Airtel store Himayathnagar (Hyderabad,Telangana) to enquire about the tariff, I was attended by a representative and was told it would be ** rupees per min I left the store and made my call to Australia for * mins. After receiving my bill was shocked to see i was charged *** rupees per min (*****=***+ taxes) i.e **** in total. I called customer care *** on ** June **** and my complaint was not registered as there were three different tariff's (I was not informed about this at Airtel store). Again i called on ** June **** they offered me *** discount, I declined and asked for complete rebate upon which they registered my complaint. I was contacted by claims department, I explained him the whole situation that when i went to the store for information, Airtel representative provided me partial information without checking the tariff card but the claims officer was adamant and declined my claim saying i dint inform the store i was calling a landline in Australia.
Please help me with this matter as i was incompletely informed about tariff and it was Airtel representatives careless mistake.
