Kwisha Soni filed complaint against Westside on Oct 6, 2025
On April *, ****, I returned an article at Westside, and I was issued a credit note worth ₹*,***, which was clearly marked as valid until September **, ****.
Between August **, ** and **, ****, I visited the Westside store at Natubhai Circle, Vadodara to redeem the credit note. However, on each visit, the store staff informed me that their system was not working and they were unable to process transactions using a credit note. The store manager took my contact details and assured me that he would call me once the system issue was resolved. Unfortunately, I never received any call or update from the store.
When I visited again on September **, ****, the staff refused to accept the credit note, claiming that the validity had expired — even though the note was clearly valid through that day (till **th September ****).
Because of this negligence and lack of communication from the store, I have suffered financial loss of ₹*,*** and mental distress due to repeated visits, wasted time, and unfulfilled assurances from the store staff.
I request appropriate action and resolution for this issue, as I have been unfairly denied the use of my valid credit note through no fault of my own.
