Ninad Ghodekar filed complaint against Delhivery on Nov 11, 2024
I was issued a credit card from Airtel-Axis Bank, but due to Axis Bank’s incorrect address fetching from Aadhar Card during the KYC process, it was sent to my previous residence, where It's over five years I have left that residence. My current permanent address, which is updated on Aadhar Card, was ignored in this KYC process.
When I discovered the card was shipped to my old address, I tried urgently to contact Axis Bank's customer service to rectify this, but received no response. Concerned about my previous poor experience with Delhivery, the courier partner, I proactively tracked the package and reached out to Delhivery’s customer support through their app, yet received no reply.
As the delivery date neared and the status updated to "out for delivery," I made multiple attempts to contact Delhivery's customer service and the assigned delivery agent, as provided in the SMS alert. Regrettably, all calls either disconnected or were unreachable. Later, I received a message stating that delivery was refused, though I never received any call for confirmation. The package was returned to the sender's location (Axis Bank in Thane).
Following this, I again reached out to Axis Bank's customer support to update my address and resolve this issue. Unfortunately, no response was received from Axis Bank’s end, and the card was re-dispatched with Delhivery, which left me in the same troubling situation.
As additional background, I had previously filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline last year regarding a similar issue with Delhivery but received no government response.
I seek immediate intervention to resolve this situation, ensure communication from Axis Bank & Delhivery, and update my address on file to avoid further inconvenience.
