Zoomcar India Private Limited - Complaint Against Zoomcar for Delay in Compensation Settlement

I am filing a complaint against Zoomcar India Pvt. Ltd. for failure to provide agreed compensation for my vehicle.

My car, purchased and registered on **/**/****, was listed on Zoomcar. It was booked by a Zoomcar customer and met with an accident on **/**/**** while in their possession.

On **/**/****, Zoomcar informed me that the vehicle was in a garage and compensation was under process. Subsequently, they confirmed that the vehicle had suffered **% damage (total loss) and offered two settlement options. I opted for compensation of ₹*,**,***, agreeing to bear parking charges, and submitted all required documents.

On **/**/****, Zoomcar stated that an ICICI representative would assist, but the concerned person denied involvement, citing no partnership with Zoomcar. Despite multiple follow-ups via email and in-person visits to their office on **/**/****, **/**/****, and **/**/****, Zoomcar repeatedly delayed the settlement with false assurances (end of February, then March, then April).

They also promised monthly compensation for the delay, which has not been paid.

As of **/**/****, no compensation has been received, nor has there been any meaningful communication from Zoomcar.

I request the Hon’ble Consumer Court to:
*) Immediately release the agreed compensation of ₹*,**,***
*) Pay applicable interest for the delay
*) Provide compensation for mental harassment and financial loss
*) Pay monthly downtime compensation for the entire period of delay until final settlement.
