Upon arrival at the property, we were denied check-in. After investigating the issue, it became evident that the listing on your platform was fraudulent. The contact information provided was incorrect, and the hotel management confirmed that the details on your platform did not match their actual establishment. Moreover, the hotel informed us that they had received no communication or booking confirmation from MakeMyTrip regarding this reservation.
What made matters worse was the response from your customer support team. Despite showing the booking as “confirmed” on your platform and assuring that no further confirmation with the hotel was necessary, we were left without assistance when we reported the issue. Your team informed us that we would need to resolve the matter directly with the hotel, which is both unprofessional and unacceptable.
After being promised a resolution within ** minutes, we were left waiting for over six hours with no meaningful support. This situation disrupted our plans, caused immense stress, and forced us to incur additional expenses to secure alternate accommodations.
