I had ordered food from *q restaurant at *:** pm on ** august via Zomato. The order was confirmed and delivery time was given as **-** minutes. Even after ** minutes the delivery time was showing the same. So I contacted customer service and they assured me that it will arrive within next **-** minutes. I called the restaurant and they didn't answer my call. I called the delivery boy and he said he was outside the restaurant whereas his live status was far away from the restaurant. So I again contacted customer service and they said that the delivery boy is on his way to deliver. After * hours gone when I called the delivery boy back, he said that -"your order is transferred to another delivery boy reopen Zomato app and you can find his number".
So again I contacted customer service and they said that the delivery boy is the same. Next, I threatened the delivery boy that I will complain, and he said to do whatever it doesn't matter. He was right. After wasting * hours of mine the food was cancelled at nearly ** pm. I had to starve that night.
I asked for compensation to their customer service for all the trouble and unfortunate situation they caused me and they said we can't do anything. They charge customers the full amount even if we cancel the order just * minute after getting placed. So why when we are cheated for * whole hours, there is nothing for us? It seems they don't give a damn about customers. Compensation must be paid to me in full amount too. Zomato policy is not favourable for customers. They are slaves of the restaurants and the delivery boys don't give a damn about your food. So they cheat customers and act as if nothing happened. I have also attached the photos as proof see timestamp at top left corner.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
