This is regarding Home Loan taken from HDFC with Loan Account # *********. Recently my trust was shattered when I have gone through the statement of my Home loan account. I have been given the understanding when I took a loan that rate of Interest will be around * to *% with the following terms
*. Nov **** to March **** - @*.**%
*. April **** to March **** - @*.**%
*. RPLR minus spread *.*% = *.**% per annum for rest of period
Shockingly I have been charged the following Rate of interest
*. Oct **** – March **** @ *.**%
*. April **** – March **** @ *.**%
*. April **** – March **** @ **%
*. April **** - Sept **** @**.*%
*. Oct **** – Dec **** @ **.**%
*. Jan **** – Jun **** @**.**%
*. Jul **** – Dec **** @**.**%
*. Jan **** – Mar **** @ **.**%
*. Apr **** – March **** @ **.**%
**. Apr **** – Jun **** @ **.**%
**. Jul **** – Sep **** @ **.**%
**. Oct **** – Dec **** @ **.**%
**. Jan **** – further @ **.**%
**. April **** onward – *.*% (when I approached HDFC)
Surprisingly when I approached HDFC to enquire why they are charging so high interest they ask me to deposit a few thousand rupees and reduce the rate of interest. Suddenly reduced to *.*% effective from April **** with revision in Existing spread MINUS *.**% over RPLR to Spread of MINUS *.**% over RPLR.
This has completely shattered my faith and trust in HDFC and I am clueless. How I am going to pay EMI for another *** months whereas I have already paid for *** months which is making it *** months instead of originally *** months.
I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
